1995-98 ORANGE MAP BASE WITH "SUNSHINE STATE" SLOGAN
This series was first seen 11/11/1994, with the earliest expiration
sticker being "MAR 95". The slogan "SUNSHINE STATE" was issued only
for all Dade county series initially. At first, each periodic
assignment appears to have been for 100,000 plates. Shortly after,
the "DMV" legend on Tallahassee state office issues was also replaced
by this slogan. Gradually, other counties added the option of slogan
or county name plates. In 2000, Florida began a separate
letter/number series for the slogan type.
